- How does this coaching work?
Once you sign up to a 4-week or 8-week LES MILLS Coach program, you will begin with an initial 30-minute video chat with your coach. This will allow you to get to know each other and help your coach create the optimal workout plan personalized specifically for you. You will then connect via video chat with your coach each week for 15 mins to check in on how you are progressing with your workouts and make any revisions to your plan and ask questions. Your coach will be there to keep you motivated and accountable to your fitness goals.
If you sign up and buy the Kick Start offer, you will have a 30-minute video call with your coach. They will discuss your fitness goals, current activity and answer any questions you may have. From this, they will develop your personal workout plan and email this through to you.
- Can I buy more than one Kick Start session?
Yes, if you want to have another check in with your coach after following your new workout plan for a while, then you can always purchase another session. However, if you think more regular check-ins will be the key to helping you achieve your goals you may want to consider a 4-week or 8-week coaching program.
- How do I know which Coach is right for me?
Having a great connection with your coach is important for your own motivation and engagement. Take a good look through the coach videos that we have available and find the person you think you will connect with best.
- What equipment do I need? Do I need a gym membership?
You need a current subscription to LES MILLS On Demand and access to a video conferencing platform, that’s it. You do not need any equipment to participate in the LES MILLS Coach program. Your coach will tailor a personal workout plan to suit you. Workout plans are focused on the LES MILLS On Demand workouts which can be completed at home.
- Do I need a LES MILLS On Demand subscription?
Yes, all workout plans will incorporate the key LES MILLS On Demand workouts to help you meet your goals. If you don’t currently have a subscription, you can sign up at LES MILLS On Demand.
- I’m new to fitness – will this be right for me?
Yes – our coaches cater for all levels of fitness. This program could be the perfect way to kick-start to your new fitness journey. If you're not ready to sign up for a full program, you may want to check out our Kick Start program.
- Can I do this if I am pregnant?
Yes, but be sure to tell your coach on your first video call so they can ensure that the workout plan is suitable.
- What happens if I don’t like my coach?
Once you start your program, if you find that your coach is not the right fit for you, just email the LES MILLS Coach team and we will see what we can do to connect you up with the new coach of your choice.
- What do I do if I want to continue working with my coach after the program finishes?
That’s awesome -- its common that our participants want to continue working with their coach. Simply jump on the LES MILLS Coach website and sign up for another 4 or 8-week program with your coach.
- How do I sign up with a friend to get 30% off?
If you and your friend both select the 4-week or 8-week ‘buddy training’ program within 24 hours of each other, you will be eligible for the 30% discount. You don’t need to choose the same coach, just put each other’s names in at checkout so we know who you signed up with. Training with a friend is so much more fun, so by starting at the same time you can motivate each other and share your successes.
